Summer/Autumn Newletter and Classes List
Hello Crafters,
I seem to have quite a lot to tell you this month so why don’t you grab a cuppa, find a nice seat and I’ll begin.

Firstly, I would like to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who sponsored Richard on his run to raise money for Marie Curie. Unfortunately he wasn’t able to complete the race (he tore his calf muscle and spent six weeks on crutches!) But with your help he managed to raise £ 505. So thank you very much.
Classes start again at the end of this month. I think we have a good mix of card making, scrapbooking and jewellery. And of course we will be beginning Christmas!

Tuesday 4th August sees the start of our Massive Summer Sale. We are reducing lots of products with 50% or more off some items in order to make space for new stock and brand new product lines. The Sale will run until the 29th of August. So why don’t you head down to see us and pick up some real bargains.
Our Christmas stock is on order and should be with us in early August. If you’re not quite ready to think about Christmas yet then we do have some lovely new stock in. We have just received some fabulous 12×12 papers from Graphic 45. They are really different (quite 1930’s) and there are designs suitable for men and women. I also have the two latest ranges from Basic Grey- Lemonade and June Bug. They’re both lovely and colourful for the summer. Also in are bead packs from The Bead Cafe (only £3.99) with a great selection of sizes and colours, and beautiful coloured wire from the Scientific Wire Company.
We’ve also got some of the basics back in stock including black dye ink and the removable glue that I’m always raving about in classes!
Last but not Least, Crafters and Co will be closed for a week from Monday 31st August and we will open again on Tuesday 8th September, as I hope to be on Holiday!

In this all day workshop Barbara will be showing you how to work with wire, crystals and pearls to create a pretty hair comb and stunning tiara. Ideal for that special day.

Beginners Jewellery
If you don’t know your head pins from your crimp beads, then this is the class for you! Barbara will be showing us how to use crimp beads and jump rings, how to attach a clasp and how to turn a head pin perfectly. You’ll then put these skills into practice by making a necklace to take home.

Spring/Summer Newsletter 09
Hello Crafters!
It is with much regret that I start this letter with the sad news of the death of Audrey Lappin. Not only was Audrey a much loved family member (Richard’s Mum and my ‘Outlaw’) but also an invaluable member of the Crafters and Co team and my longest serving member of staff. We will miss her very much.
This Saturday we will be cheering Richard on as he runs the ‘Highland Fling’ over in Scotland. He aims to complete the 53 mile course in around 14 hours and in doing so hopes to raise as much money as possible for Marie Curie Cancer Care in memory of his Mum. I would like to also take this opportunity to thank so many of you for your kind words and understanding over the last few weeks. Your support has meant an awful lot to both Richard and me.
Classes are starting again and we have an exciting mix of cardmaking, scrapbooking and jewellery making workshops. The full details are overleaf. We will start taking bookings on:

As usual we will be asking for payment in advance although you are entitled to a full refund if you give us 72 hours notice of cancellation. This enables us to make full use of our waiting lists.
Once again we have lots of lovely new products in store including two new ranges of paper from Basic Grey- Lime Rickey (really vibrant colours which are great for kids pages and cards) and Wisteria ( a lovely blend of purples, pale green and taupe- ideal for older sepia photos) And Mimosa (pinks and peaches on pearl or glittery backgrounds) from SEI.
The Edwin and Tilda stamps have arrived from Magnolia as well as a good selection of Acrylic stamps from Prima, Stampendous and Woodware.
We have also got the Water Colour Stamps back in from HobbyArt. These proved to be very popular and now there are some lovely new designs to compliment the range.
I’ve also had a delivery of polystyrene cubes, so I hope to have the packs for the Photo Cubes ready very soon.
For the Jewellery makers amongst you we have some fantastic new stock. Semi-precious stones from Ilona Biggins including; blue goldstone; various Agates; Onyx, Dumar Stone and Paua Shell. We also have deep coloured crystals and metallic glass beads by the gramme as well as a good stock of the usual selection.
